What we do
Some of the things we could help with:

Support individual GPs both personally and professionally.

Ensure GPs interests are represented in political and other settings i.e. health service, local authorities, county council etc.

Assist on matters relating to staff in general practice.

Assist Practices with any practice management issues.

Assist local health policy formation.

Negotiate on behalf of wide GP community.

Raise awareness of local and national initiatives in health that could have an impact on GPs.

Ensure local GPs views/concerns are represented at a national level.

The LMC represents all GPs in Gloucestershire; principals in GMS or PMS and non-principals. We recognise that the GP community is now diverse consisting of partners, senior partners, salaried, part-timers and also Sessional GP's. We would like to think our membership constitutes all variations of general practice.
