Crescent Bakery Surgery is currently looking for a 6 session Salaried GP.  We are based in Cheltenham and easily accessed from the M5, minutes from the Golden Valley bypass.  We are a innovative and forward thinking practice of just over 5000 patients. We would be happy to consider an initial locum period of up to six months for the right candidate.

You will be joining a dynamic and responsive team committed to providing accessible, high quality healthcare. Examples of our commitment is demonstrated in being one of the first to recruit Nurse Practitioners, participating in both Wave 1 and 2 Pharmacists in surgeries, leading on introducing interactive websites. Our sister practice has also introduced paramedics and chaplaincy as new services to our patients and as additional support to the surgery team.

You will be part of a team of 3 other GPs, one of which is our Senior Partner that work together to ensure a high standard of clinical governance and continuity of care is maintained through regular team clinical meetings.

This practice is part of the Church Street Group which looks after four practices. We are a genuinely forward thinking partnership looking for enthusiastic and motivated colleagues to join our established team in Cheltenham.

The South Cotswolds Frailty Team offers a dynamic service which places each individual at the centre of their care, delivering a person dedicated , case management approach to those living with frailty and supporting their families and carers.

Frailty is a distinctive health state and services dedicated to supporting people with frailty are growing locally and nationally. The South Cotswolds Frailty Service is a small team of professionals dedicated to person centred care and supporting people and their families to live well at home. Our autonomous practitioners support people using communication, assessment and diagnostic skills alongside their clinical expertise and judgement to improve the clinical outcomes and quality of life for people with complex biopsychosocial needs. The post holder will work closely with, and be supported by, GP colleagues and will develop close professional relationships with a wider multidisciplinary team including Consultant Geriatricians, mental health professionals, Social Care colleagues, Community Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Housing Officers.

The post holder will be responsible for the line management, supervision, training, support and leadership of a Wellbeing Coordinator within the team. You will have the opportunity to lead on areas of service development and deputise for, and undertake work delegated by, the Senior Community Matron as required.

This is a full time and permanent role based in Cirencester, the hours of work are Monday - Friday 8am and 6pm, with some flexibility possible in hours. A job share may be considered for the right applicants.

Salaried GP - Cleevelands Med Centre



Salaried GP with a view to partnership if desired

Even with the ongoing stress and pressure of Covid19, the normal demands of practice life must go on! We are looking for a doctor to join us in our state of the art new build medical centre in Bishop's Cleeve, to the north of Cheltenham. Our senior partner will be retiring, and we are looking to replace his sessions and possibly a few more! The role will be 5-9 sessions a week, and could potentially start from September, though we are flexible for the right candidate. Salary would be commensurate with skills and experience.

Our medical centre was finished in January 2019, and we are all very proud of it. Our patient list is growing steadily and we have over 11,000 patients currently. We have an onsite pharmacy, an onsite dentist, and are hosting sessions for physio, counselling, urology and ultrasound, and looking to bring more outreach services on board.

We have a fantastic team of staff, with 3 of our nurses being nurse prescribers, and all chronic disease management being nurse led. We have an active Patient Participation Group, who are setting up an Virtual Patient Participation Group as well. Our skilled administrative staff are the bedrock of our team. We have regular whole team meetings to educate, communicate and share. Our Primary Care Network is active and early adopters. We have practice-based pharmacists who see hypertension patients as well as managing prescribing. We also have attached social prescribers. We are a training practice, with one of our partners having recently started in this role. We are part of the NHS research and take part in approved research projects.

We consistently score highly in QOF and also in Family and Friends feedback. We had our CQC inspection in February 2020 and scored 'good' in all areas.
